Hi Dereck,
I found your posting on ancestry.
I note that you are also researching the SIMMS family. The thread I found was speaking about the Hartshorn/e family.
Now this is the coinicidence, My 4X great grandfather was a John Sims born around Condover Shropshre about the 1750's he married a Eliza Hartshorn and the witness at the wedding was a Saml Lea ?
My Sims family moved to Bilston aroun thw 1840's for the minig work.
Does any of this sound familiar ?
