Hi Andy,
I am interested in the Turner family of Wednesbury circa 1784. Thomas Turner, bachelor was married: 05 AUG 1784 at St Peter's, Wolverhampton to Jane Hartshorne spinster Witnesses Elizabeth Hartshorn/Benj.Barrett
I appreciate that this is a bit earlier than your refs but I wondered whether by now you had managed to go back any earlier in the Hartshorne side of the family and whether the above names meant anything to you?
There are many potential Jane's in the IGI but so far I have not located one in Staffordshire. This may be her :
JANE Hartshorne
Christening: 22 FEB 1760 Benthall, Shropshire, England
Father: SAMUEL Hartshorne Family
Mother: ELIANOR
