Dear Hartshorn Cousins,

Another year is upon us and with that, major revisions for the Official International Hartshorn Web Page are in order.
Having total responsibility for keeping this page is updated is a formidable challenge.
I am seeking a Hartshorn-oriented assistant who is comfortable with HTML and would be willing to help me with the web page.
I am reaching my golden years (or whatever that might be) and I don't want to see this web site end when I do.
Anyone who has fresh ideas and a desire to keep our family intact is invited to contact me.

The 2005 Hartshorn Reunion to England, the home of our origin, was a great success. The planning is documented at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~hartshrn/Reunion2005/.
The trip itself (still under construction) is at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~hartshrn/Reunion2005/trip.htm
We wish to thank Velma and Jay Fast and the other organizers a great thank you for making this dream a reality.

The big news is that we are planning for the 2006 Hartshorn Reunion to be held in New England.
Stan and Sally Hartshorn will be our New England hosts and the best reunion of all is the expectation.
Massachusetts is where the first Hartshorn migration from England arrived and settled.
I am a product of that emigration and spent the first 29 years of my life less than one-hundred miles from the settlement of Thomas, the first American Hartshorn.

A page has been established for our 2006 New England reunion at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~hartshrn/Reunion2006/ .
This page will grow as new information is developed and any assistance is welcomed.
I would love to see a great many of us descent on Massachusetts to attend our 15th Hartshorn Reunion in June, 2006.

I am currently trying to document our past 14 reunions with the pictures that have been graciously provided by our many Hartshorn cousins.
This page will soon be in place to illustrate the past activities we enjoyed at past Hartshorn reunions.
Work on the Hartshorn page is going is slowly as I have many other Internet responsibilities that require constant attention.
Please visit my page: www.Hartshorn.us to see the activities I am involved with.

I have deliberately updated the Hartshorn home page on a monthly basis so that it won't get stale.
At the same time, I need input from all Hartshorn cousins, regardless of how they spell the name.
New information and stories are the life-blood of any Internet venture. I have only a limited number of resources.
I am grateful to those who have submitted trees, photos, queries and requests. I will continue to respond to every contact.
Only when folks have an interest in this family can we hope to preserve the unique nature of our heritage.
RootsWeb has provided the web space for free so there is no financial need in that regard.

Please take the time to explore every link on the Hartshorn Web Page http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~hartshrn/
and feel free to offer comments, corrections, additions and submissions or anything that will impact every cousin or web visitor.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish each and everyone a very Happy and prosperous New Year wherever they might reside, either due to direct kinship or affinity.
