The stuff on here about harveys parrents is incorrect as they tried to match him with the three harvey's in the book but this harvel does not go with the three in the book.

from what I have found Eunice Parker married Harvey Hartson and had Sarah as for other children I'm not sure because I've been focusing on Sarah.

Sarah Eliza /Hartson/ the last kid, I assume you are talking about her? She married David /Hart/ right.

That book will not help you with this family.

ALso, the book this is bassed off will not help.

Yes, Harvey & Eunice Hartson. I've found some extensive family tree information about Eunice Parker but the information I'm trying to dig up is about the fact that Sarah Hartson-Hicks & B. Hicks having a child and giving it up for adoption around 1864 in Savanna, Ill to Calvin & Laura Everts

I have personal record of this couple and a son, but can't connect them to anything earlier. They do show up in the Wisconsin State 1905 Census. There seem to be no records connecting them to the previous generation. Have you seen any of these before?

Jennifer, I am doing the research ofr my brother in law. I don't have a lot of information for him, his family lives in Northern NY. It is said that his name was once Hartshorn. I am trying to find out all I can.

Hi! I am a Hartson that you've never met. I'm not sure if we're related, but I live in Pennyslvania, along with about 5 or 6 other Hartson's. All of us originated from Maryland. There are still about 4-5 Hartsons left there. And those Hartson originated from Connecticut. I'm not sure where they came from before that. I have been told that the Hartson's helped in one,way, shape, or form to establish Yale University. I also know that there are a few of us who live in Texas. My father told me that the Hartson name did not originate as "Hartson", but as a series of different name that eventually turned into that. He also told me that we've originated from Norway. I' m not sure if that was the information that you were looking for, but I think it's great that there seems to be more Hartson's out there than what I realized:)

I am a Hartson from Pennsylvania. I have an Uncle Phil in Philadelphia and the rest of us live in Mayland and Texas, though I don't know a whole lot about the ones that are in Texas. My family is declining in numbers (everyone is getting up there in age) and I am very interested in findind out just how many of us that are left. There is only one or two of us left out here to carry on the family name.

Lulu Hartson was born on October 24, 1881, the daughter of Willard and Mary (Mix) Hartson. Believed to have resided in PA. Lulu moved to Ny and Married a George G. Sharp, who was my great grandfather. One known sister named Mary, who's married name was Kline, and as of 1975 resided in PA.

The twists in this family are far from a dead end.

Nothing less than pure confusion, close relatives of mine, residents of Newfoundland, Canada tried researching the family's history and looped as far back as rumors of a "Hartzphen" or "Harzven"name from Germany's late 1800's.

I do know that my grandfather, Aldouphus Joseph Hartson is a first cousin to British Football star John Hartson's grandfather.

We are somewhat sure that the family settled in Newfoundland's Burin peninsula in the late 1800's/ early 1900's with a name change from Harshorne, or Hartstone, but as to when the family ended up back in Britain under the name Hartson is quite unknown.

I think my bio-dad's father was Henry Austin Hartson. And I think HAH was first married to a woman named Grace. This past summer, I met my sister, Laryl, who is my bio-dad's daughter by a later marriage. She found me. Apparently I also have a brother, Mike, in Portland, OR, Laryl tells me, but he is not interested in meeting me. And a paternal aunt, Virginia, in Florida. Laryl@laryl.com. is my sis's website. The Henry H. Hartshorn I have in my database was b. 1876 in Vermont. His father was Horace Hartshorn, His grandfather was Horace Henry Hartshorn. The name spelling may have changed somewhere along the way. Write me.

My great grandmother, Doris Hartson 1904-1995, is the daughter of Henry Horace Hartson 1876-1957 and Edna Eliza Hill 1882-1972. I think Henry's father's name was something like Herare Hartson and that "Herare" was born around 1860, but I am just not sure. Anyone recognize any of this?

ok i am saranne hartson. and my family is broken up...(as i am told) from up north and south. well my mother has always told me about my family tree but i have never actually considered it to be in any thought of mine, untill now. i would like to have something so that i may know who is related to me, and my family too. is it alright for me to get information from someone you know so that i may end my families battle on who is and who isn't related? me and my family of "hartson(s)" aren't able to afford to have the money or even able to go out of the country. well im not atleast. :] but this will be much appreciated.
