I have a James Earl Hartsock, born 12 Jan 1903 in Pecan Gap, Texas, and died 21 Apr 1930 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He married Cordell (sp?) Newton, who was born 7 May 1905 in Kihler, Arkansas, and died 9 Aug 1935 in Van Buren, Arkansas. James Earl was a coal miner and was a member of the Baptist Church. They had 6 children:
James William, born 23 Apr 1922;
Carma May, born 1 Aug 1924;
John J., who died as a baby;
Troy Joseph, died in infancy;
Emogene Marie, born 3 Oct 1927 and married Arthur Holloway;
and
Lucian Odell, born 11 Mar 1929.
