Hello,
I am not related in any way to Palmer Hartsough, but I enjoy researching the lives of hymn writers. I live near Rock Island, Illinois, where Palmer lived and ran a music shop for several years. I intend to see what I can find about him in local records, but it will have to wait a few months as I'm leaving for college tomorrow.
