Hi...My name is Linda Maiese- Fredrick, my father was Albert Maiese and his father was Angelo Maiese, who was born in Prignano Cilento Italy, in Salerno Province.
His father was Carlo Maiese, and that is as far back as I have gotten on this lineage. I know my great great grandfather's brother was Antonio and also Carmine. My grandfather Angelo came to the USA in 1922 from Italy, seeking his father Carlo who left many years before and did not return to Italy. I believe he located in New Jersey, and my grandfather was never able to locate him. Carmine Maiese' family went to South America, and we made a connection there.
