Re. Silas Hartt....My granny's dad was Silas Hartt and he married Juleanna Hammer in about 1896-1906, and had children (Nelson, Ida, Tommy,Fanny, Mary, and Leda) in Taos, New Mexico. Granny says her dad died in Mt. Harris, Colorado, a town I've been unable to find on any map. I don't know if we share common relations, but some of the similarities (ie. Taos, New Mexico, Colorado, the names Fanny and Tommy, etc) jumped out at me, so I thought it was worth checking out. Unfortunately, even though Granny is still alve (age 93), she has no documents, news clippings, bible pages, etc., nor even much personal knowledge about her dad. He died when she was young. I've tried everything I can think of to find information on this man, so far to no avail. Do you by any chance recognize any of these names? Thanks!
