Hi, My Mom's maiden name was Hartwell. She grew up in Williamston, Michigan. Her name was Ruth Alice Hartwell, born 10/25/1928, died 1/30/1987. My Grandparents were Harris Elson Hartwell and Mary Norine (Ording) Hartwell. Mom was one of seven children born to Harris and Norine. Mom's siblings were, Joseph Kirby (died at 6 months old), Maurice, Margaret, Robert, Ruth (my Mom), Josephine, and Jeanette. Aunt Josephine and Aunt Jeanette are still alive. I don't know much about my Great-Grandfather, other than he abandoned my Grandfather and his mother when my Grandpa was 2 years old. I was told he ran away with a chorus girl! My Aunt Jeanette still lives on my Grandparents farm in Williamston, Michigan
