Hi Melissa,
I must have the wrong info and please correct me. I have the 4 children that you listed as the children of Job and Lucy Koppleburg...
Here is his obituary...
OBITUARY: Chronicle newspaper, Cass City, Michigan dated Friday Nov 20, 1914: "Death of Novesta Pioneer:
On the morning of Nov 8, Jobe Hartwick breathed his last at the home of his son in Novesta Twp 68 yrs 10 mos and 2 days. The deceased was born of Canadian parentage who moved to St. Clair Co inh 1840. Jobe Hartwick was the 7th child of a family of twelve and was born in St. Clair County Jan 6 1846 where he lived until he came to Novesta in 1882 and settled on a new farm iin section 27, building the house in which he died. On the 11th of December 1881, he married Lucy Koppleberger and they had four children, Fred, Edwin, and Nelson of Novesta nd mrs. Olive Momnroe of Flint. The mother died in 1895. Of the deceased brothers and sisters two remain, Charles Hartrwick of Alger, Mi and Mrs. Hiram Wilson of Saginaw. Both were present at the funeral.
Melissa, I don't have the Lucy in my records that you have mentioned, but for some reason I have a 2nd marriage for Job as a Carrie McCartney.
If this is your family, can you correct this for me?
