Not related and I don't know if this will help anyone but I have a copy of Herbert Hamilton Harty's marriage certificate from July 15, 1904. It states that the marriage took place in Kentish? Town, Parish of St Luke, County of London. The date of the marriage is July 15, 1904 between Herbert Hamilton Harty age 24, Bachelor, Musician. His residence is listed as 34 Southwich West and his father William Harty was also a musician. Harty married Agnes Helen Nicholls age 28, Spinster...how come he's a bachelor and she's a spinster?...it's not fair. Anyway, her residence is given as 153 Camden Road N.W. Her father, Albert Chapman Nicholls is listed as deceased. The marriage was witnessed by Fanny Elizabeth Nicholls and Reginald Morton Nicholls and performed by Vicar Frank C. Elliot.

Am trying to discover if there is any relationship between the three Harty lines who came from Tipperary Co. near Nenagh in Ireland and emigrated to the London and Lucan areas of Middlesex Co. in Ontario. They are:

Unrelated family # 1: Michael O' Meara born about 1790 & married in Dunnkerrin Parish Co. Offaly to Mary Harty - Children who came to Canada include: Elizabeth born 1829; Michael 1832 and Roderick.

Unrelated family # 2: John O' Meara born abt 1755 - 1765 Tipperary Co. and Bridget Harty born abou 1770 - Children who came to Middlesex Co. Ontario include: Mary O'Meara Collisson; Catherine O'Meara Donohue; Margaret O'Meara Morkin; Timothy O'Meara. These family members emigrated between 1842 and 1858. Three others in this family remained in Ireland.

Unrelated family # 3: John Harty born about 1750 and Mary ? both born in Tipperary Co. - Children who came to Lucan Ontario include: William Harty b. about 1780 married Mary Rigney; Mary Ann Harty born 1793 married John V. Ryan; Patrick Harty who married Sara Feehely.

My grandmother was Sarah Harty b: 15 July 1867 (poss Alexander Co.) Illinois, d: 27 Feb 1933 Stamford, Jones Co., TX.
I found a Sarah Harty on the 1870 census Alexander Co., Ill; with her father Green Harty b: 1842 MO and her mother Jane b: 1843 TN. Then I found a Sarah Harty on the 1880 census Stoddard Co., MO. with her mother Jane and it shows Jane is widowed or divorced. I'm not for sure if this Sarah Harty is my grandmother, but is the only one so far that fits.
Is there anyone out there that has a Green Harty in their family (Green might be a middle name, nick name, etc).?
If you can help, it will be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking for the ANCESTRY of HARTY BOONE. I had a lead that thought she might be a grandaughter of a Harty Covey. Now that there is a HARTY site--I am wondering if her grandmother could have been --------------Harty. Using Harty as an ancestral surname am hoping someone out there has heard of a Harty Boone. Her husband Paul Perkins was a Doctor in Berlin, New York around 1818. They walked to Granby,Oswego Co., NY and then walked to Alfred-Andover areas of Allegany County, NY.

I am looking for a family who lived in or around Hubbard, Dakota County, NE for most of their married years.

John HARTY was born in Lucan, Ont, CAN on August 24, 1862 and married Mary Ellen HEFFERNAN on August 11, 1891. I don't know John's parents.

Mary Ellen was born on November 14, 1865 at Hubbard, Dakota County, NE, and died on April 10, 1933 at Hubbard.
Mary Ellen's parents were John W. Heffernan and his first wife, Ellen Long.

All their children were born in Dakota County, NE.
They were:
1 & 2. Josephus and John Jr. who I believe were twins as I have the same birth date in 1892. Both died in the same year.
3. James, born in1893 and died in 1918 in Rancheres, France, in WW1.
4. Pearl H. born in 1896 and married Dan Harnett. She died in 1987 in South Sioux City, IA.
5. Mary L. born in 1898 and died in 1922 location unknown.
6. John Michael, born in 1901, married to Charlotte Mary Harnett in 1922 and died in 1954 in South Sioux City, IA.
7. Daniel S., born in 1904, married to Madeline Sheehan in 1931 and died in 1976, location unknown.
8. Clemett, born in 1908 and died in 1924, location unknown.

Most of their family was born there. They left Puxico, MO around 1915 for Tupelo, Arkansas. Settling on a farm in Beedeville area. accident before the family came to the US. My grandfather is James Harty. He
Married Margarey Gately in 1892 and they had 13 children. My father Edward
Harty was the 12th child.

I will share anything needed with anyone who finds this useful and is
researching the same lines. Micheal Harty left the family and got married in
New York. There has been no contact with that branch of the family that was
probably in the Bronx or Queens from 1880 to the 1940's. Any of Micheal's

My gggrandfather was Pinkney Caldwell Harty (P.C.) - born 1850 in North Carolina, married Mary McElroy (born 1857, Kentucky). PC and Mary were married 10/16/1878. As far as I know they made their home in Georgetown, Williamson Co., Texas. They had three children William Robert (married Flora Pearl Fowler), Charles L. (married Julia Cochran), and James (died at age 7 years).

I have been trying to find death date and location for PC.

If anyone has any information on PC and Mary or any of their family, I would appreciate and would share anything I have collected.

I am looking for any information on the William Harty - Catherine Cox marriage and family. This marriage took place near Charlotte, N.C. William Harty's dates are 4/9/1822 (N.C.) to 10/20/1874 (TX). Catherine was born some time before 1835 near Charlotte NC. They had several children - Pinkney abt. 1850; Charles abt. 1854; Mary A. abt.1860; Nora abt. 1864; Pat abt 1866; Jesse abt. 1869 <= all born in NC. They also had Livie abt. 1871 and Hattie abt.1874 both born in Texas. After William's death, Cathrine and some of ther children moved back to the Spartenburg, SC area. I have no idea when Catherine died or where. Any information or connections would be greately appreciated.

I am also looking for anything on parents of william.

A Harty story

A Harty relative of mine lived near mt pleasant Texas where they lived on a Mexican land grant. One day the mom sent a child to check the chicken pen and she didn't come back she then sent her other daughter to check on the first. She put her last baby down on the porch to go check on her other daughters. When she got to the pen the two girls were both dead bite by a snake. She ran back to the other daughter and found her dead from falling off the porch. The mother subsequentley went insane. Anyone familiar with this story?

My great-grandmother was Mary Ann Harty,
married to Fredrick Patterson. One of their
children, Ada Patterson was my grandmother,
married to John Thomas Foley. Their daughter,
Mary Ellen Foley was my mother. Don't know
whether Mary Ann and Fredrick were born here
If so, it was probably in Mobile, Alabama
where the rest of the family lived. Fredrick
was Norwegian and Mary Ann probably Irish
Any information would be appreciated.

HE WAS MARRIED TO MARY LEE ALSO FROM IRELAND AND THEY HAD FOUR CHILDREN. MARY BORN IN 1856, PATRICK BORN IN 1869, ELLEN IN 1863, AND HANOCA BORN IN 1867.

before 1800. He was the son of Rev. Richard PACK, President of Kilkenny College & Mary PERCY of Ballintemple. A daughter of Barbara & Bartholomew, Anne Catherine PACK, m. George Washington BRAZIER-CREAGH of Creagh Castle, Co. Cork, in 1822. Looking for Barbara HARTY's line.
