My great grandfather Jacob Hartz was a brother of Edward. The information I have on Edward is limited but hope this helps.
Edward Hartz, b 1 Jan 1866; d 12 Oct 1922. He married Anna Ilg.
Gilbert Hartz, b 08 May 1908; d 26 Jun 1992. Married Mella Kraus. They had a daughter born in 1954.
Regina Hartz married a man with the last name of Walters. They had five children. Daughter Irene Walters married Bill Berger and they had three children. Son Jim married a woman named Barbara but I have no maiden name for her.
