Age 88, long time resident of Birchwood, MN on April 11, 2003, to join his beloved wife Martha Moore and dearest eldest son Bill. William moved to Birchwood from Edgewood, PA with his young wife and two eldest children in 1941 at the age of 26. Survived by sister Helen Wray of Sacramento, CA; sons, Michael (Susan) of Beloit, WI, Patrick of White Bear Lake & Nicholas (Izzy) of Mahtomedi, MN; loving grandfather of Anne, Nick (Christa), Peter, William, James Hartzel of MN, Michael, William, Brigid & Timothy of Beloit, WI, & Sean, David, Kris (Joshua), Steven & Scott; 10 great-grandchildren, nephews Chris (Tom) Goldthwaite, Jeff (Carol), Matt & Pete. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Wednesday at St Jude of the Lake Catholic Church, Mahtomedi, MN. Visitation 5-8 pm Tuesday at HONSA FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2460 E. County Rd. E, White Bear Lake, MN, and 1 hour prior to Mass at Church on Wednesday. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi, MN.
