My grandfather was John E Harville from Baldwin County, Alabama. His father was Allen Robert Harville, born in 1870 probably in Baldwin County, Alabama. His father was William E. Harville (Harvil, Harvel) born 22 mar 1836, joined the Confederate Army in Troy, Pike County, Alabama. His father was John T Harville (Harwell in 1840 census, Harvel in 1850 census) born in about 1803 in Georgia; listed in the 1840 census of Pike County; married Nancy Duck.

William married a Catrett and moved to Baldwin County. I know that he had brothers and sisters: Mary, Hillery, Christine, and Caleb.

I am now trying to find John T Harvel's (b 1803) parents.
