yes I would like the death certificate of cassie cattnach.
hugh cattnach parents i have nothing
duncan mother catherine mc roy born 1795 badenoch, scotlalnd.
duncan died jan. 29, 1898 LeMars Ia.
1 Mary Harvey born April 30, 1840 St. Anicet Canada.
2.Catherine Clark born Tryome, Ireland
3.Parents of John Harvey and Janet Orr don't have any records.
4.Samuel correct spelling Born May 12, 1852 Huntingdon Canada died Feb. 10, 1933
5.Samuel I was told would get into fights on Sat nite and one time bite off a mans ear. Latter in life he use to chase kids away from a walnut tree ( located in the city park) after they had most of the nuts on the ground, he then would go and pick them up for him self. In the 1930's it was very dry and the crops were very poor and some years there was no harvest. Samuel went out one day to collect his rent from his farm and returned to town with out it. Samuel's wife found him in the garage where he hung him self.
6.Cassie Cattnach I found in the court house records where alex cattnach stood up for his sister when she got married. I also have a copy of the origanal baptism record from the church of scotland for Cassie.
David Harvey and his wife i have a large obituary that does a good job discribing
there life from birth to there death in Lemars.
I found no war involvement
They immigrated to Iowa because they were farmers and in Canada the King of England gave a small area size of a few counties to Scotish people that was loyal to the king of England. This area is south of Montreal and the remainding area was settled by the French. The French were not happy having Scothish people there and constitly was trying to squeeze them out.
the Harveys were all farmers
Indian wars were over by this time.
there is also Hugh Cattnach that was Cassie brother, I have a lot of information on there family and they send us letters from time to time.
I have several newspaper articles on Cattnach and Harvey's
Mary, John Harvey, Janet Orr, Catherine Clark, I don't have any more information.
