HOSCHTON – David Paul Hatcher, 42, died Saturday, April 11, 2009.
A native of Hampton, Va., he was the son of father and stepmother, David R. and Julie Hatcher of Watkinsville, and mother and stepfather, Rita Hatcher-Fulcher and Jimmy, Arnoldsville. He was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and attended Arkansas State University.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include a sister and brother-in-law, Marti and Tommy Cobb, Bogart; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Missy Hatcher, Statham; stepbrother, Jeremy Walker, Watkinsville; grandmother, Wanda Hatcher, Union, Mo.; nephews, Jacob, Josh and Benjamin; nieces, Lauren, Madison and Brianna; and many aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m., at Church of the Nations, 8780 Macon Hwy., Watkinsville, GA 30677, with Mel Holmes officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dr. Gray’s Stray Animal Foundation in Winder, which David supported by acting as coordinator for several motorcycle rides for the benefit of the foundation.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, Bogart, is in charge of arrangements.
