Does anyone know the parents/origins of Barney Hathcock, said born in SC abt. 1700, married to Catherine Turner, moved to Alabama. Had son William married Mahala [unknown surname?]> Josiah B. married Mary "Polly" Ann White. Is Barney connected to the Hathcocks said to be of Portuguese origin. Is Barney from the same family line as Dancy/Dany Hathcock Luncinda Lansen? What relation to Barney
