He was the second husband of my great grandmother, Minnie (Noe) (Laux) Haubrich and they lived in Larrabee near Clintonville, Wisconsin. A distant relative of mine told me his name was Joseph Haubrich. She has a newspaper article dating from the 1880s about him. As far as I can guess from my great grandfather, Henry Laux's death record plus the 1890 Census Record, Minnie may have married Joseph Haubrich in late 1885 or early 1886. Minnie and Joseph had 2 daughters together, Catherine and Carolyn. Both names Laux and Haubrich appear on my great grandmother's grave in Clintonville. Joseph's name does not appear on the 1890 Larrabee census with Minnie and her children which makes me wonder if he was dead by then or if Minnie and Joseph separated. I hope to get a copy of Minnie and Joseph's marriage record and a copy of that article I mentioned. He and Clara Hibbs were married and from what my super sleuth genealogist friend has told me they had 8 children(John,Anthony,Augustus,Mary,Clara only five I know by name).
