sorry.... I was missinformed. The True Story is that my father was fostered to MaryLou Jone and Dr. James Jones at around the age of 15. He had an older brother who pasted away when he(my uncle) was in his early 20's in a car accident. My Paternal Grandmother developed alcoholism and my Grandma and Grandpa Jones took in my father. My father was born in Penn, but lived in Cleveland, Ohio

My father pasted away in December of 2001. His name was Claude Garrison Haubrick and born in Pennsylvania. He was adopted (I beleive as a young boy-but not an infant) to MaryLou Jones and Dr. James Jones and lived in Ohio. I know that my Grandmother and Paternal Grandmother talked a few times as my father was growing up. The only Haubricks I know are my 2 Brothers and their kids, and I would like to know my heritage and medical history since my father died at 57. Thank you for your help. slvreclipse21@msn.com

In response to the request for Haubrichs from Kenosha who have the Daaden ancestry: My grandfather, Otto Haubrich immigrated from Daaden, arriving first in Staunton, IL, where he married Emma Georgi and then moved to Kenosha. My father, George Haubrich, and his 5 siblings were born there, as was I. We recently returned from a genealogical research trip to Kenosha and would love to hear from anyone seeking Haubrich relatives from that area. In particular, I hope to hear
from Joan Borman, who sent out the request.
Donna Haubrich Reichle

In Daaden, Germany, still today live most Haubrichs in Germany. I found them in Sydney, Hongkong, London, NY, and so on. Some people say that the Haubrich's came with the Hugenots from France, other sources say, we were forestcutters to get meadows for cattle.
Bye Heiner Haubrich, Duesseldorf, Germany

I came across your message in a search of my husbands family. Your grandfather Paul Haubrich is the brother of my husbands grandmother, Gertrude Haubrich (married name Mundell)The lineage I have splits from yours at Joseph Peter Haubrich. (to the name of Mary Ann Rink, his wife.) You might try alternate spellings - Houbrich or Haubric. This is the first hit I have had on my search. If you have any information on the Charles Joseph Mundell family I would be interested.
Thanks

I don't know if this is who you are looking for but I've been searching for a man by the name of Haubrich who may be the same one you are looking for. He was the second husband of my great grandmother, Minnie (Noe) (Laux) Haubrich and they lived in Larrabee near Clintonville, Wisconsin. A distant relative of mine told me his name was Joseph Haubrich. She has a newspaper article dating from the 1880s about him. As far as I can guess from my great grandfather, Henry Laux's death record plus the 1890 Census Record, Minnie may have married Joseph Haubrich in late 1885 or early 1886. Minnie and Joseph had 2 daughters together, Catherine and Carolyn. Both names Laux and Haubrich appear on my great grandmother's grave in Clintonville. Joseph's name does not appear on the 1890 Larrabee census with Minnie and her children which makes me wonder if he was dead by then or if Minnie and Joseph separated. I hope to get a copy of Minnie and Joseph's marriage record and a copy of that article I mentioned. I'll be happy to share more information if you are interested.

My great-grandfather Harry Haubrich was born in 1885. According to family members he was most likely born in March of 1885 in Pennsylvania (most likely Philadelphia). He was raised in an orphanage in Philadelphia, but I have no idea how he came to arrive there. His wife Emma Rudolph Haubrich was born in 1887, presumably in March and in Philadelphia, PA. Her parents were born in Germany and she had older brothers, one of whom I believe was named Philip. My great-grandmother's family supposedly owned or was involved with the Camden brewery in Camden, NJ.

Hi Wanda,
Thanks for replying. My grandfather, John Kletchko married Mary Chastkavich...it may be that the John Kletchko in your family tree was my great grand father. John Kletchko was born in Neudorf Saskatchewan as was his son, my father (also John Kletchko). My Grandparents then moved to Regina. My parents moved to Alberta. I am now living in New Zealand but have four sisters living in Alberta and British Columbia.
Cheers, Sharon

My family is also from Philadelphia, PA. My grandfather was Charles Gerald Haubrich. His father's name was Harry, I am pretty sure it was short for Henry. Harry married Emma Rudolph and they had three sons - Francis, Harry, and Charles. Charles and Harry were twins. The problem I have encountered with my search into my Haubrich roots is that Harry was brought up in an orphanage in Philadelphia. No one in my family knows anything more. If anyone could give me advice on how to proceed from here, I would really appreciate it.

Mary, saw your posting and noticed the Haubrich you speak of came from Naussau, Germany. We have a Samuel Haubrich who was born there, married Amelia C. ? from Michigan, traveled to CO and was in the 1880 census there and owned 160 acres of land in Moffat County in CO. They had two daughters named Stella and Pearl. I am sorry I can't tell you Samuel's parents name. Does he sound familiar to you? Let me know, and thanks.Kay

Looking for Daughter's Birth Mother

My daughter Michele Lee Haubrick is looking for her birth mother who gave her up for adoption on April 2, 1969. The birth mother's name is Cecilia Haubrick. Cecilia gave birth to my daughter on the above date and gave her up for adoption through the Angel Guardian Home in Brooklyn, New York.

What we do know is that her mother was around 22 years old at the time and we are unaware of any information on the birthfather. We also know that she was a file clerk possibly working for the New York Phone Company and that she has an older sister who was married at the time and a younger brother. We have other non-identifying information that was provided to us from the adoption agency.

Michele would very much like to hear from anyone who could possibly help her in her search since she has been trying to find her for the past 12 years. If you have any information, please email her at michele_zeni@excite.com.

Hi Kimberly, My name is Bob Carr. I live in NJ. I'm pretty sure that the Anthony Haubrich that you are looking for was my great grandfather. He and Clara Hibbs were married and from what my super sleuth genealogist friend has told me they had 8 children(John,Anthony,Augustus,Mary,Clara only five I know by name). My grandmother was Clara and she married a Thomas Carr. They had 3 boys born in the 1920's. One of the boys godmothers was a Gertrude Haas. This could be the Gertrude you are interested in. If you want to contact me by email I am Robert.Carr@Mattel.com Rgds, Bob
