Milton Hauck
Milton Hauck, age 85, of North East, Pa.,
passed away Monday March 9, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. He was born on September 29, 1923 in Twin Rocks, Pa. a son of the late Russell and Etta Hauck. Milton retired in 1984 as an Expediter with Erie General Electric after 38 years with the Company. He served as a Cpl. with the U.S. Army during WWII. Milton was a long time member of Park United Methodist Church in North East. He enjoyed working in his yard, loved nature and did extensive traveling with his wife. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and James Hauck and one sister, Rose Dennison. Milton is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Hauck, whom he married October 27, 1946, and two daughters, Gail J. Barber and her husband Raymond of Millcreek and Gloria J. Trapp and her husband Richard of Millcreek. Also survived by three grandchildren, Lisa, Lindsey and Eric Trapp. Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, Pa. on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Private funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Mark E. Hecht, will be held at the convenience of the family.
