I am researching John House b. abt 1793 in Pennsylvania.
from the 1851 Wilmot, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada census, he was in Canada by 1824 when his eldest known child was born.
John m. a Mary/Maria who was b. abt 1799 in America. From what we think we know, they settled in Waterloo township first but later removed to Wilmot.
the 1851 census states that they had at least 4 sons,
Jacob b. 1824 Canada m. Catharina and had two daughters, Susanna and Anna Maria. they are living in John and Maria's household.
John b. 1833 Canada
James b. 1835 Canada
George b. 1838 Canada who in 1865 m. Catharine Schaefer, daughter of John George Schaefer and Catherine.
George removed to Kansas, USA with his family between 1876 and 1880.
can anyone tell me who John and Maria's parents were and if they had any other children?
