Give you what little I have, James HAY b 1736 m Ann Riach 1761, had as follows: Unknown 17.10.1762, Isobel 31.05.1764, James 5.02.1780, John 3.08.1766, Nathaniel 14.01.1769, & Robert 31.03.1774 my ggg Grandfather. All this occured in Kirkmichael. Robert m Katharine Ogilvy 1798 at Forfar had Barbara 1798 and Ann 1801.
Robert was caught sheep stealing at Alyth, tried Perth Court send to Hulk then transported to Australia. i,e, Tasmania from here we have lots. But what happed to the rest of family in Scotland we cannot find any of them, I guess they migrated this is why I am looking anywhere and everywhere for some link.
