I have been looking for my John Hazelwood in virginia for years.
Kentucky was part of virginia till after the Revolutionary War, then became Kentucky.
My Hazelwoods lived in the Grant Co area's. I found two Hazelwoods in 1820 cesus. John Hazelwood and a Clifford Hazelwood.
All records before the War of 1812 were distroyed in the war
My John was born 1784.
Does anyone know of the religion of Hazelwoods during that time. Is there any church records.
