I believe my husband's step-father may have had relatives from the Hickory Mountain Township (Chathm County) area of Siler City, North Carolina. Does that are sound familiar to you?
Do you recognize the name Jack Headen who was born about 1900 and passed away in 1980? And, possibly married to an Alie Braden? Jack's parents may have been Horton Headen and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Harris?
