I am searching for info on Isaac HEADS, b. 1838 in Dalston, Cumberland, Eng. He is my Ggrandfather. I have found him listed on the British 1881 Census as living in Durham, Eng. Elizabeth ASHBRIDGE b. 1858, Caldbeck, Cumberland, Eng. is my Ggrandmother. She and two of their three sons, Robert (my grandfather) and Isaac Jr., came to the USA and settled in East Palestine, Columbiana County, Ohio. The middle son, John "Jack", followed in 1908. Isaac Sr. never came to the USA....and I have no further knowledge of him. "Uncle Jack" always talked about Howden-le-Wear in Durham, Eng. as the town where he was raised. I can find no connections with the HEADS families posted on Ancestry.com.....does anybody out there recognize these names? Anyone connected to the HEADS of Dalston, Cumberland, Eng. or Howden, Durham, Eng.? Thanks for listening. Margie Barnette
