I'm looking for Heads from the Louisiana area. In particular, relatives of my Great-Grandfather Emmett(Emzie) Head(s). The original spelling of our last name is Heads, but my grandfather dropped the "s" from the name some time ago. My grandfather was said to be full blooded native american from the Red Chute, Louisiana area, and his family's original name is Chavis or Chavas.

My great grandfather's wife was name Ludvinia Heads. Their children were Marshall "M.E." Heads from Mooringsport, Louisiana (my grandfather), Carl Heads, Warren Heads, Darrin, Heads, Alice Heads, Liza Heads, Bessie Heads, and Carrie Heads.
