Looking for any information on the children of Robert and Mary Heale of Inwardleigh. 2 sons Abel b. 1758 and John b. 1768 and 3 daughters Mary b. 1760, Grace b. 1763 and Charity b. 1765. John and Abel's children/grandchildren may have settled in Catedown, Plymouth.

I'm looking for the possible parents or siblings of my ancestor Dora Hale who married Bat Johnson both are former slaves who lived in Montgomery, TX. Dora is said to have had a sister named Annie not last name given.

Dora was said to have been the daughter of a white man possibly one of her owners.

Francis, born 1836 in Creech St Michael, son of Levi Heale, married Harriett Bartlett 11 October 1858; lived near Bridgwater for most of his married life. Children: Frederick, Sarah, Francis, Ellen, Amey, Harriett, Sidney, Frank, Bessie and Amy. Died 3 January 1898 at Creech St Michael. I'm keen to hear from anyone descended from members of this family or who knows anything about the family.

I am searching for information on James HALEY who married Nancy HALEY March 18, 1860 in Dickson County, TN (Batch 19173, Source call # 0497401). Who is James parents? Nancy was Nancy HALEY (before marriage)? Who is Nancy, was she married before to a HALEY? Who are her parents?

On the 1860 Dickson County census, family # 283, HH # 283, is James HALEY age 32, born NC; Nancy age 26, born NC and W C, age 5, born NC. Family #284 is Thomas HALEY age 52, born NC and Aggy (Agnes?) age 52, born NC? Is this James' parents? The 1850 Hickman County census lists Thomas HALEY age 45, born NC; Agnes age 47, born NC; Wilson, age 18, born NC; James, age 16, born NC; John, age 13?, born NC. Is this the same family? If so what about James age, 16 years in ten seems like an extreme amount.

Is W C HALEY, Nancy's child by a first marriage or James by a first marriage? W C's (William Carroll) death certificate lists his birthplace as Trenton, Gibson County, TN; but have not been able to make a connection to Gibson County as of this date.

i am the great granddaughter of sussana heale born moretonhampstead devon 1832, married 1850 paignton devon ,she had 7 children her parents were samuel heale and agnes dodge.i have some info on the rest of the family including sussana's siblings and her family when she married my great grandfather john effer.

I would be interested to learn what information you have on the sons of Catherine Heale. Do you know when and where they were born, names of children, etc?

I am researching the family of Thomas Hale of Warrington Twsp., York County, PA. Thomas and his wife Hannah (unknown) had a family of twelve children, which included the names of Thomas and Joseph. Thomas died in 1761. I think it likely that he was born born before 1720, but I have no proof. He purchased his land in Warrington Twsp. in 1741. I'm trying to discover as much as I can about the Hale, Hail, Heale, Heald names in the York Co., Lancaster Co. areas.

I am also responding to this because the Cannaday name is connected with my family in Montgomery County, Virginia
