Hello, I have a Healey in my RI family tree. Mary Healey married in Ireland - Cork - to Michael O'Connor. Came to USA apx 1863-65. These were my great-grandparents on my father's side. My grandfather was John Healey O;Connor, age 2 to 5 at arrival in US. They are buried (Michael & Mary) in an unmarked grave in St. Francis Cemetary in Pawtucket RI. Acording to dates of birth and death, both Michael(80) and Mary (85) lived to quite an old age (especially for that time). Since my g'grandparents were in their 40's when they immigrated, I am expecting that there were more children prior but I have no names and don't know if older children remained in Ireland or came with them to US. My father, John Henry O'Connor, was one of 5 children but the only one to have children himself. As a footnote, my grandfather (John Healey O'Connor) left his family at some point and left with a friend of my grandmothers and moved to New York. I do not know if they had any children but I suppose it is a possibility. All of my grandparents on my father's side died before I was born so not much info. If any of this rings a bell, it would be great to hear.
