I am in search for info on the "Haithcoat" name. I was told that it could have been spelled in any of the above spellings. I was told that John Haithcoat moved to TN from NC and VA. He was born in 1810 in NC and died in TN. He was married to Margaret Holt, born and died in TN...both are buried in the Bomar Cemetery in Bedford Co. TN. These are their children:
