I have neglected this website for some time, being busy with other things. It is good to read some new messages about my Grandma's line. I would love to be able to visit Thwing, Yorkshire, and get a better handle on the roots from which I was derived. Throughout my life, the Hebdon history was a mystery. I think my dad probably had some bitter feelings for some of his cousins, and not much information was passed on. James Ritter Hebdon and his legacy to me will not be taken lightly. My grandma, Alice Malinda Hebdon died 3 years before I was born. I never knew her, but I cannot set aside the heritage that she left me. Any further information or queries will be appreciated. JT
