It was quite enlightening to learn the background of a Heckendorn family although not my direct line. Barbara Kuhn is a direct descendant if I read her information correctly. My Heckendorn family descended from John, Clay, and Robert and lived in Pennsylvania, Nebraska and Texas. My branch of the family still lives in Texas. Would love to hear more about other parts of the family.
