Looking for decendents of Robert (Texas Bob)b.1847 AL & Anna Carpenter (Helm) Heckle b. 1863 UT. I have information regarding Anna and her ancestry. They resided in Arizona most of their married life and both passed away in 1931.

I am searching for any information on the descendants of Robert Heckle (b 1740 Scotland) and his wife Margaret McKittrick (b 1742 Scotland) who emigrated on the ship Adventure in 1774. Four of their children emigrated with them - David William Thomas and Robert. The family name was actually Haighle in Scotland. This is my 4th Gr Grandfathers brother.

Grover was my grandfathers (Delbert Heckle) brother, along with Walter Heckle. Im chasing the family and have traced it back to the early 1800's.

I believe his father was Frederick Heckle. Fred had a brother A.J Heckle who died in a northern prisoner of war camp during the civil war. Write me at Phheckle@yahoo.com

Heckle, Pearlman, Bloomenthal, Ebert family in New York

My maternal greatgrandfather is Gustave Pearlman b. around 1877 and he was married to Rebecca "Rose" (nee Bloomenthal) b. around 1886. {Rebecca's parents were Hyman and Anna Bloomenthal} They both came from Russia and settled in the Brooklyn area. Their children are Yetta, Dorothy, Bessie "Beverly", Minnie "Marion", Hyman "Herman", Evelyn and Daniel "Arnold".

My other maternal greatgrandfather is Samuel Heckle (Heckel, Hackel, Hackle) married to Anna Ebert. They had two sons that I know of; David and Frank.
Any information would be appreciated if these names look familiar.

An earlier posting, you mentioned your HECKLE came from NY. Do you have any names? Our HECKLE was William Alden Heckle, NY. He only had one son, John Archer Heckle, I, and died when JAH was small. It is possible he had brothers or sisters, but I have only just started researching the family. The name is NOT common, as you know. However, little by little and with the immense web presence, I am finding that there are MORE HECKLEs in this world!

My HECKLE family is from NY. As far as I know, we know NO other HECKLEs. I was able to take a look at some early immigration information and found a Robert HECKLE who arrived in NY with his wife and several sons in the late-1700s. These sons may be the primary link to the many HECKLEs I do come across, but I am unable to make any connections so far.

my father hugh joseph heckle's father was born in liverpool. dad is the last of 13 children only two of which were heckles since his father was the second husband. he remembers a half brother from england and remembers his name was hugh. dad was born in mass. in 1915 and is still living. i will see what else he remembers. his sibling is grace heckle wilbur born in 1913? she is also still alive.

My father's aunt was named Pearl. I don't know if this is the same person you are looking for. Pearl was the oldest of four girls: Hazel, May and Myrle. I am also looking for info on the Heckle family. My grandmother Hazel died in the late 30's. So I have very little info on her. I know that Pearl was married and that she had at least one son named Gordon and a daughter, but I don't know her name.

I am looking for information on the Heckle family. My grandmother was Hazel, she had at least three sisters that I know about: Pearl, May and Mytle. Hazel was married to Guy Livingston Colbert, Sr. I have very little information on her because she died during child birth in the late 30's.

Thank you for responding. Did you know Marty? I have been a big fan of his since the 1950's. There was no other like him! My daughter was in Nashville when he died & saw him in his casket.

Yes this is the same Texas Bob Heckle that was Marty Robbins grandfather. But before it is brought up all the information on the many Marty Robbin's web site great-grandad NEVER NEVER had a traveling medicine show. That was all publicity hype to promote Martin.

I do not have information on Texas Bob Heckle but curious as to if this is the same Texas Bob Heckle who was Marty Robbin's grandfather? Bob was supposedly a Texas Ranger.

I am researching the HECKLE family. I know the immediate family came from Germany with 2 brothers settleing in South Carolina and one brother in Texas. My grandfather, Grover Cleveland Heckle was born in 1892. This would have been possibly his father or grandfather. There is no one left to that remembers. My father is 84 but said his father died when he was about 3 years old and doesn't remember much about his grandfather. Any help would be appriciated.

I'm looking for info on Pearl Heckle. She should have been born abt. 1900, since her son William Blank was born Feb 28, 1918 in Custer, Arkansas. Wm's father was Ernest Blank. Ernest family was from the Missouri area. I don't know if Pearl ever lived in Oklahoma but has family here. And at one time her name was Pearl Thornton. Grover Cleveland Heckle was the brother of my granfather. He had four brothers and two sisters. The boys were Grover, Walter, Delbert and Felder William. Sisters were Lessie and Mattie. Their father was Henry H Heckle and Mother was Emma Crider.

My great grandfather was Robert Heckle born 1847 in Alabama. From census records his father was born in New York. His mothers name was Eliza M. and she was born in PA. Do you have any records of any Heckles that went to the southern states in the time fram of 1800 to 1830 ?
