I've been trying to get in touch with Cynthia, Lynn, and Robyn to let them know I finally connected my line to their (our) Anna Dippold and George John Heckler. I found an obituary for Anna C. Heckler that pieced everything together.

"HECKLER - Anna C.
June 26, 1979, mother of Francis A. Norbert, Elizabeth Sanders, Delores and Robert Gersitz; also survived by 18 grandchildren; sister of Catherine Andres, Margaret James, Eva Koch, Frances Starr, Joseph Heckler, Florence Granat, Teresa Sosnowski and William Heckler; dear friend of Thomas James Wells." Then it goes on to list the funeral home and such.

I have several family obituaries that, as you know, list the daughters by their married names. None of them ever show that Anna C. Heckler married. So if you know anything about the name Gersitz I'd be interested in hearing it.

Her father, George Heckler, I now know for certain, is my George who is the son of Frank Xavier Heckler, Sr and Anna Troppmann/Trautmann.
