Lawrence Melvin Heckler, Navy Chief Petty Officer (Retired), was laid to rest in the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi on May 13, 2005. Chief Heckler was born on August 5, 1925 and died January 8, 2005. Chief Heckler served his country in the Navy from April 4, 1944 to July 1, 1965. His committal service was attended by a number of military personnel and civilians to show their respect for this veteran and his service to his country.

I'm searching for descendants of this family. From the 1930 census, there were two brothers and their families. Lawrence, 46, married Maude, 42, Children: Mary E., 17, and Martha, 8.
Frank, 41, married Blanch, 40. Children: Wayne, 18, Rachel L. 15, Frederick L., 13, Anna C., 11, and Tommy M., 16.

Henry Heckler married Mary Deprez, brother of Henry Deprez, my g-g-grandfather who emigrated from Billigheim, Germany. Thanks for your help!

I am seeking information on two Hecklers who may be brothers:
Jonathan Heckler married Nancy Mathers. She was born about 1830 in Harrison Cty, OH. Members of her family later show up in Tuscarawa Cty, OH and some went to IN.
Daniel Heckler was born Feb. 12, 1826 and died in the Civil War in 1863. He enlisted in IN but his widow returned then to Tuwcawaras Cty, OH and died there in 1897. She was Barbara Ann Angel b 1830 Harrison Cty, OH. She was the sister of John Angel who married Isabelle Mathers, sister of Nancy Mathers. That is why I believe Daniel and Jonathan may be brothers or, at least, cousins. I would appreciate any information

Little and Eva/Evelyn Anderson, who married 1871 in La Salle Co, IL, then moved to Emporia, KS. Looking to contact anyone associated with this family. Leila had a sister Helen N.
