My Great-Great Grandfather (Michael Heckmann) is thought to have been born in Dieburg, Hesse, Durmstadt, Germany circa 1809. Wife thought to be Catharine, possibly his first wife. They immigrated to either the US or Canada circa 1844 with 2 year old Son Francis who is my Great Grandfather. ANYONE HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THIS FAMILY??
