The response was actually supposed to be attached to Susan's response, but my mother is Wilma Marktl, her father is William Kaps (born Wilhelm Kapsch-my mother was born Wilhelmina). My mother has a sister that shares the same father (but not the same mother) whose name is Maria Heckmann. Maria has three children that I know of - Susan, Audrey and Greg/George. I have never met them, but my Aunt Maria used to write to my mother all the time and the only picture I've ever seen is when Maria was in the newspaper for businesswoman of the year or something similar. I would love to get in touch with her or her children to find out more about my grandfather's history.
