Barbara, I am very interested in what you may have on Louis Hecner. We do have others who spell their name Hecner although we spell it Hecnar. Our Hecnars came from the
Ukraine. Do you know Louis' father's name and where they were from? Thanks Violet

Reread a previous posting I did in February-info wrong -I'm looking for info on Cecilia Tiernan, Oct 23 1908-March 1987or Louis Hecner.(Heccner) August 1 1906-Feb 1975 this was her husband. Don't have any info on Louis except he married my Grandmother's (Mary Tiernan Furtado) sister Cecilia, Cecilia had another sister Agnes. They all lived in New Bedford, Bristol Co, Massachusetts-buried in St. Mary Cementery.

Just got an obits about my Grandmother Mary Tiernan who died July 9 1979 in New Bedford, they listed Agnes Tiernan & Cecelia Heccner-or Cecilia Hecner (b Oct 23 1908 Died March 1987) as her sister's-so I looked up the SS listing-found Louis Hecner, possibly her husband b. August 1 1906 d. Feb 1975 I'm just checking this out now-just thougtht I post the name & see what happens.
