Sylvester had another daughter--LUCETTA HECOX. The following info is taken from her obit published in the La Grande (Oregon) Evening Observer dated July 18, 1906.
She was born Feb. 16, 1825 in Meggs county, OH. With her parents she came to IL at the age of eight years. When 16, she joined the Freewill Baptist Church. She married James Lansdon on Feb. 15, 1845. ( According to county records, she was married in 1844 in Schuyler county-see Vol 1, page 001/0119 license 00001022). They lived in Adams county, Houston twp until they moved to KS in 1867. James Lansdon died in 1874 leving the widow and the large family of children.
She moved to La Grande, OR with her youngest daughter, Lillie M. Lansdon Allstott in about 1891. She died in La Grande, OR where she is buried on July 18, 1906.
