This is a link to the Hays County Historical Society page regarding the Hector family cemetery, where Astyanax and his family are buried. There is a family reunion scheduled for July 28 in San Marcos, Texas. I have been somewhat involved with the family cemetery association and can also help you find family tree information. Ann Smith of Sweetwater, TX has written a book on the Hector family history and geneaology, and there is some family tree info. posted on the web, but I'll have to find that link. Email me and let me know your Hector ancestors....we're probably cousins one way or another.
