Helo Margaret it has been awhile,yet still pursuing ancestry.I have some details of Hectors in Aberdeen district,perhaps we could compare sometime.My ancestry goes back to James b.1754[Ferny flat farm Catterline] married Susanna Davidson b.1764[brd.Mary Cylter[Templars Park Priory]Kincardineshire.13 children.Perhaps James' uncle was Alexander who married Elizabeth Sangster[d.1794]I have some details of that line as well.
