According to my information, there was a branch of the Huddleston family who left Britain (Leeds area of Yorkshire) for Ireland -- this branch changed the spelling of their name to Hudelson.
Some Hudelsons came to America from Ireland.
My branch is most likely related to yours -- the earliest Hudelson I have is Daniel Hudelson, born 3/26/1856 in Pittston, PA (Luzerne County). He married Mary Elizabeth Adams 10/10/1883 in West Pittston.
If Daniel fits into your tree, I'd love to share information with you.
Ken.
