I have been researching my family line, Hudelson( Huddelston), and believe there may be a connection. I occasionally find it spelled with a, i, e and u interchanged and also with or without the t.My direct line was from Columbia/ Luzerne Co. Pa. I am back as far as my g-g- grandfather Reuben.I have two different birthdates and deaths for him and no idea who his parents were. His wife's name was Barbara( possibly Raugh) this is from the 1850 census which also states they were both born in Pa. No idea where. If you think there is a connection or you have any helpful information please let me know. I will exchange info on other lines of the family. thanks
