Hi Mary, I was hoping to meet up with you
again. The last time we met, you were
going to give me everything you had on the
Heddlestons. My 4g-grandfather was William
Hiddleston, who came from Ireland with his
wife Martha Philpot. They had at least one
one son, that I know of, also named William.
He married a Martha McClintock, who bored
him 10 children before she died. He then
married an Elizabeth Cowles, who had four
children from a previous marriage. I'm
not sure if she then bore him 5 more children
or just one more, because he is quoted as
saying that he has 15 children. (I don't
know if he claimed her other 4 as his after
they wed.
It would be great to hear from you again.
