Frank Amos (Hedin) Hedeen

My Grandfather was put into an orphange sometime back in 1888 + or - a yr. he was about 3 yrs. old they guessed. This was in Picatonica Ills. Back then the living conditions there were not good, infact harsh. They booted him out the door sometime when he was 12-15 yrs. old with 50 cents to his name. He met my grandmother Ona Sells and they married around 1918. Several, several yrs. later he found out that he had 2 step brothers and step-sister (Bertha Hanlon), not sure about her spelling of last name. Her daughters name was Leona Lawson ( Ills.) Now story has it that his last name was spelled Hedin, but When he got married, grandma added another "e", reasons being so as he could start a new life and Last name.Will try and post more as I find out.

I,am looking after someone who knowe anything about IDA,S
family. She had a daugter Mrs.Bernad(Doris)Spong Venice FL. and a son Rev.N.Everett Hedeen Overland park KA.He was a minister and, as far as i know he served congregations in Minnesota,Iwoa, and kansas.He had three daughters Ida,Mana,and Anna.
Everett,s mother Ida and my grandfather Karl.W. Larsson where cousins.Ida,s father Kar alfred Larsson emigrated to north Amerika 1882 from Tysslinge Sweden. i hope someone can help me.

Is anyone researching Carl Hedeen (Hedin)? My mother's grandmother was Adele Petrea Hedeen (Hedin) of Ronneby, Sweden. Adele's brother Carl imigrated to Juneau, Alaska and later sponsored her father David E. Simonson.

I'm doing a bit of research for a friend who believes that one of his ancestors, Carl Hedeen, was knighted in Sweden, probably in the 1800s. Does anyone have any information on Carl or the reason for his knighthood?

Old clipping of my grandfather's obit had this obit next to it.
Unfortunately no date or newspaper ID but I'm reasonably certain it would be 1952 & probably from Eagle River WI area.
EMIL HEDEEN DIES AT CONOVER
Emil Hedeen, 67, Conover, passed away in his sleep Saturday evening at the home of his brother in Conover. He has been a resident of that town for 46 years.
He was born in Sweden on May 31, 1885. The only survivors are his brother, Peter, and a niece.
Rev. Lawrence Anderson officiated at church services on Monday, July 7 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Burial was in the Hildegard cemetery in Conover.
The Gaffney Funeral Home of Eagle River was in charge of arrangements.

Leonard Hedeen

I would love to talk to anyone who has a Leonard Hedeen in their family tree. I do not know much about him. I believe he was born sometime between 1900 & 1910. He was a handy man in Wisconsin during the depression. I am trying to find any information about living or dead relatives.
