I am interested in locating any ancestors of the Hedefin(e) family which originated from County Down, Northern Ireland. Other spellings of Hedefine include Headifen, Hedivan.

I have just found this board and I hope someone can help me. I am searching for info on Agnes Hedifen Kelly. her parent s were suppose to be John Hedifen and Mary McGill from Scotland. She was born in New Jersey abt 1860. Her husband was Michael Kelly of " Slide, Kelly, Slide" fame. She possibly lived in New York City after his death in 1894. Has anyone heard of any of these Hedifens?
