In a book entitled "Some descendants of the Pioneers" there is ancestry tree printed for William Hedrick Brown. It takes his part of the Hedrick family through his mother Mary G. Hedrick to George P. Hedrick, to John M. Hedrick [b 30 Jan 1825 in Tazewell County] to John Hedrick [b 6 Feb 1785 in Rowan Co. N.C.] to Adam Hedrick to Peter Hedrick. As such he uses several sources including Family Bibles owned by Ed Hedrick of Pearisburg, Giles Co. VA and H. Kyle Hedrick, 2314 West 17th St., Wilmington, DE 19806. Also, there is recorded that Elizabeth Hoppess the wife of John Hedrick was born 18 May 1792 in Wythe County.
