Minnie G.H. Heefner
QUINCY, Pa. - Minnie Gertrude Haugh Heefner, 98, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Monday, April 7, 1997, at the home.
Born July 6, 1898, in Shade Gap, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Agnes Mort Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren L. Haugh, in 1943. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Ervin Heefner, in 1947.
She did domestic work and baby-sitting for various families in the area.
She was a member of Otterbein United Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro.
She is survived by six daughters, Mary M. Bakner, Catherine G. Triesh and Martha M. Sanders, all of Waynesboro, Beatrice I. Barnes of Chambersburg, Pa., Dorothy Pague of Mont Alto, Pa., and Geneive E. Feterline of Frederick, Md.; three sons, Marshall L. Haugh of Hagerstown, Lewis H. Haugh of Waynesboro and Lloyd L. Haugh of Winter Haven, Fla.; 32 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 68 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by infant son Leroy Haugh, in 1934; and 15 sisters and brothers.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Michael V. Newman will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
