I believe that Father Hehir was a cousin of my grandmother, Margaret O'hare (O'Haire) Custy. He was President of Holy Ghost College connected to the university. I have been told that he had a very complete family genealogy. My grandmother came from County Clare Ireland. My grandmother's Mother's name was Hastings.
