I am looking for any descendents of John C. and Anna Heidenreich. In the 1880 census for Utica, New York, the children of this couple are listed as: (some dates have been verified from other sources)
Mary - Age 22
Edward (Eddie) - Listed Age 19, but he was born 5 Feb 1858
Charles - born 27 Oct 1864
Frederick - born 4 Feb 1870
William - Age 8
John - Age 6
George - born 9 Jun 1876
Hattie (not Addie) - born 1 Feb 1879
I beleieve John (and wife, Anna) is my great grandfather, Jacob's brother.
The children with the actual birth date listed above were listed in my grandmother's (maiden name Reusswig) Heidenreich birthday book, so I am certain they are family to my great grandfather, Jacob.
At the time of Jacob's death (railroad accident) in 1877, it is mentioned in notes from my aunt, Dorothy Heidenreich, that Jacob's brothers came to take care of Jacob's 4 children, but Jacob's wife, Barbara (Biri), would not give them up.
I hope someone recognizes some of these people.
