I am seeking information regarding the son of Henry Bentz and Rose L. Heidinger (B: Nov. 1877 in MN). Henry and Rose were divorced abt. June 1910 probably in Clay County, Minnesota. Fred was my fathers half brother.
Rose was the daughter of Joacham Heidinger B: Prussia June 1844 D:28 June 1905 in Wabasha County, Minnesota & Caddie or maybe Katie: B: April 1849 Prussia
Known siblings of Rose: Lewis, Katie, and Herman

My grandfather, Wm.H. Hydinger born 7-ll-1831
in Wheeling, W.V. - died 2-11-1914 was married
to Malvina Stewart, born 1-31-1837. Am looking
for information as well on the Hydingers. I
remember my mother stating that it "used" to
be pronounced, or spelled differently. Am
going to check the Alsace-Lorraine area of
France. Would be interested in hearing from
you.

My gr.grandfather, William H. Hydinger, born
7-11-1831 in Wheeling, WV...died in B'ham,
Ala. 2-11-1914; buried in Nashville, Tenn.
Married to a Malvina Stewart who died in 1885.
She also was from Nashville. Am unable to
find anything prior to these dates. Can
anyone help?

I am also researching the Heidingers from Iowa. Mine start with a Heinrich (Henry) Heidinger. He was born in Jan 1809 somewhere in Saxony, Prussia. He came to the US in the later part of 1846. His son, William Atlantic was born on the voyage in Sep 1846. William's son, Frank William was born in Wadena, Fayette, Iowa on 15 Oct 1875 and moved to Sacramento, California sometime in the early 1900's. I have some marriages and a few other decendants. Is this the same family? Here's hoping.

Willaim Hydinger was my great great grandfather
through his daughter Sarah who married Calvin Miller,
I have copies of his civil war pension request and
death certificate, also a picture of Sarah and her
husband.

My great grandmother was Sarah Hydinger from
Wheeling WV, She married a Calvin Miller from IA.
I really don't know much about the family, except
that they came from Alsance Lorraine, and had some
sort of glass works factory there, and that they
had some sort of plantation in WV, and that there, were
two brothers there, Sarah's father and his brother.

William Benner Heidinger was married to Esther Elizabeth Vandaveer and Laura Best. Eliza Catherine was his daughter by Esther. Eliza was born 5 December 1875 in Mt. Erie, Wayne County, Illinois. She married Solomon Ray on 7 December 1893. He was born 27 December 1870 in Huron, Indiana the son of Alfred Ray and Lenna Fitch.
