My grandfather was Albert Height born Feb. 10, 1898 and he had a sister named Mae Height. His father's name was also Albert or Alfred Height.

My grandmother was also a Height - Violet Mae Height, and her father was Albert Height. She was born in Ontario, Canada.

Albert Height was born 1898 and died 1979 in Ontario Canada

Get bac kto me and we can try to figure out if we have any sort of a connection here.

I am a decenent of Zedikiah gibson.
I have a copy of a patitiion for land owend by Ezekiel Hight that indicates he lived and died in rapids parish LA also. The document was datd 9/21/1904 with note that Ezekiel had passed away in rapids parish " some years ago".
I do not know what happend to Mary or where they are buried. Hope this helps.

My brick wall is Janie/Jennie N. Height(spelt many different ways however, my husband's mother spelt her mother Janie's last name as such, but she wasn't a good speller) She was b 28 Jun 1885 GA- d 20 Jun 1950 Lee Co.,AL. Janie m William "Frank" Carter bef 1904. Possibly had a falling out with her Height family, could be the reason my husband's family never meet any of the Height family members. Janie and Frank had two daughters, Lillian and Nobie. Frank was previously married and had two children, a daughter Rilla and son Robert Lee.
Any info would be great.

I have a Floyd Alexander Massie who married Eudora Roselle Hight on 14 Mar 1877. She was the daughter of James and Gaels Hight. Eudora was born 31 Mar 1858 and died 27 May 1933. They had 12 children. Is there a connection ? Ernestine Massie Tabor e mail is grainie1@bellsouth.net

I'd be interested in this information as well. All I know is that a female Height married an Apple and had a daughter, Hattie Apple, born 31 July 1890. Hattie later married a Benjamin Franklin Cook. Would love to fill in the blanks on Hattie's parents!

to Jn (John ?) HIGHT and Sar (Sarah ?) who had the following

Both John & Richard's christenings are recorded as HEIGHT,

i am trying to find info on a james height who lived in wisbech england.. we believe he was married to a lady named sarah and they had at least one son called robert james who died on april 23 1906 aged 37 yrs.. we believe the family mostly lived in the wisbech/ peterborough/march area of england as that is where roberts children were born. the family seems to have a strong link with the railway from the people i have traced already.. we also know that roberts children were edith and reginald and there may possibly have been more we dont know...although we know reginald married a gertrude doris bray who was born in 1899. if you can help at all please reply or contact jh1000@aol.com many thanks

I have recently received data indicating that Sarah's maiden name was Lance and not Lentz, which had been passed down on written paper. She was first married to John Fisher in Richland County, Ohio and not in Allen County, Ohio as I previously have shown. Has any descendants learned anything more about who John Henry Height's parents were or who his wife was, when or where he died? I have been research the Height name for a couple of decades. Your ancestor was born on 11th March 1863 - his parents were Joseph Height and Anne Mays. Joseph was born in 1834 at Elm, Cambridgeshire, UK - the son of James and Rachel Height. He married Ann Mays (aged 19) on 7th September 1852. They came to Port Phillip, Victoria on the "Ann Milne" arriving 1st January 1853. Two of James' brothers came to Victoria as well. I am a descendant of his brother William who went to the Victorian goldfields. I know of no connection with Germany or Denmark.

A friend of mine is looking for his great grandmother. Her maiden name is Susan Hith/Hight/Height. She was married to Harrison Pollard in Louisiana. It is possible Susan' mother may have been Sarah. Sara had two other daughter, Delia who married Jake Wilmer and and Josephine married to Daniel Wilmer. Susan Hith/Hight/Height had a daughter, Nora, who married Martin Wilmer, also from Louisiana. Ezekiel Height can be found in the 1802 census of Mississippi Territory. Their daughter Sarah married Zedekiah Gibson in St. Landry Parish May 3, 1823. In this document the surname is spelled Hight. Zedekiah and Sarah settled in Rapides Parish, La. and had a large family. Where did Ezekiel and Mary go? Does this ring a bell with anyone? Where did the go from there?
